Three simple steps

Do this once on each device you want to watch from.

  1. Step one

    Install Tailscale

    Tailscale creates the private connection between your device and JJ Files.

  2. Step two

    Sign in

    Use the email or account that I invited. When Tailscale says Connected, you’re ready.

    Open Jellyfin

    Keep Tailscale connected, then continue through the secure access check to get your private Jellyfin link.

Quick fixes

Troubleshooting

Jellyfin won’t open

Make sure Tailscale is running and shows Connected, then try again.

Can’t sign into Tailscale

Use the same email or account that received my invitation.

The app asks for a server address

Copy the private Jellyfin address shown after the secure access check and paste it into the app.

Do I need this page every time?

No. Once configured, keep Tailscale connected and open the Jellyfin app directly.
